Headquarters:

Most enquiries are dealt with by our local offices (see details below).  However, if you would like to contact the Adult Social Care Service Headquarters or our Corporate Director, please use the link below.

Customer Services offices:

You can contact us at your nearest Cumbria County Council Adult Social Care office.  We have offices in Carlisle, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven, Kendal and Barrow-in-Furness.  For address, telephone number and email address details for any office, click on the office nearest to where you live on the left-hand menu of this page.

All offices are open:

Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5.00pm
Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm

If you need to contact us about an emergency when our offices are closed, please contact our Out of Hours Service on 01228 526690.  They deal with emergencies for the whole of Cumbria.

Use of emails:

If you need to contact us about an urgent or emergency matter, you should telephone us or visit us at your nearest office.  Emails are checked daily so you should not use emails for urgent matters.  You should also note that Government guidelines say that emails are insecure and so care should be taken if you intend to use emails for personal details.  If you wish to send us personal details, you should use the on-line referral instead which is secure.

If you are asking for information using email, please send your email to your nearest office.  There is no need to send identical requests to more than one office.
