The Mental Capacity Act is being implemented in Cumbria through a multi-agency Mental Capacity Act Implementation Group.
The Group is chaired by David LeMare, Mental Capacity Act Lead Officer in Cumbria County Council Adult Social Care. The Group includes representatives from a range of agencies including Cumbria County Council, Cumbria Primary Care Trust, Cumbria Partnership NHS Trust and the Acute Hospitals NHS Trusts, GPs, Cumbria Police, Ambulance and Probation.
