Are you interested in a career in Social Care?

You might never have considered a career in social care until today,but you’ve always known that you wanted to support and care for other people. You might already have what it takes to work in social care, but just need a little more advice. Or you may already work in social care and you’re thinking about how to deveop your career. Whatever stage you’re at, we’re here to help you. 

What’s stopping you... 

There’s a social care role to suit everyone, it doesn’t matter about a person’s background, how old they are, or their academic qualifications. The most important qualification for social care work is a genuine interest in people and the desire to enable them to get the most out of life 

Many companies will offer supportive induction courses when you first start and in-work training will allow you to develop the skills you need. 

If you have a family or other commitments, social care work offers plenty of part-time opportunities, with many employers able to structure hours around your availability. 

So whether you’re looking for a career change, just starting out from school or college, returning to work after a career break retirement or looking for a second income - as long as you like working with people and truly feel like you want to care and support  others, somewhere in our community there’ll be a position for you.
