West Cumbria Provider Forum has a strong membership of providers of social care whether carried out in a person’s home, day care, or in residential / nursing care homes. The Provider Forum is held regularly, and has been very successful and is well attended by care providers in West Cumbria.
The Provider Forum promotes work to improve standards of performance within the caring sector for providing quality services. The Provider Forum has strong links with Care Sector Alliance Cumbria and a representative from the Forum is a member of the Care Sector Alliance Implementation Group. The Care Sector Alliance seeks to improve the quality of life of those who access social care services within Cumbria through the development of the staff who support them by promoting workforce development, planning, learning and qualifications throughout the social care sector.
