We provide a wide range of services to the public. Like any large organisation, we need to keep records so that we have a clear picture of what we are doing and why. As a lot of our work is done in conjunction with other organisations, like the health service and organisations providing services on our behalf,records are essential to allow us to co-ordinate our work with others. Records also help us plan future work.
