Direct Payments - What do I do if there is an emergency?

While you should have contingency arrangements in place, these may not be able to deal with every eventuality.  If your care arrangements break down, you may need help to resolve this urgently.

If this happens during office hours, please contact your case worker.  If your case worker is not available, ask to speak to one of his/her colleagues – there should be someone nominated to be on duty.  If it happens outside office hours, you can contact the Out of Hours Emergency Service on 0845 0500 862 (Penderels Trust Main Office) for advice.
