Copy ordering and charges
Cumbria Archive Service is pleased to offer our users a range of copying services and options. We can copy documents for visitors to our Archive Centres (subject to copyright and physical condition of the documents) at the rates given below.
You may also take photographs of documents in our Archive Centres using your own camera (again subject to copyright and physical condition of the documents). Further details of conditions and charges are given on our Digital Camera use page.
We can also supply high-quality digital copies of documents through our Conservation Unit's Digitisation Service.
We will also copy documents if you are unable to visit our office. You should write or e-mail the relevant Cumbria Archive Centre with as much information as possible relating to the copies required. Our staff will supply you with details of costs and ordering. If you already have these costs you will need to complete a photocopy order/copyright declaration form
(PDF 106KB) and send it the appropriate Archive Centre.
