Visit the new Archive Centre and see the completed renovation work!

The new Archive Centre has now been since June 2011, and we have had thousands of people through the doors since then.  Thank you for all the positive comments about the new facility.  Many people have asked questions about how the building was constructed, so we will be mounting several on-line displays showing you just how it was done.  To start with, this slide show records the restoration of Lady Gillford's House, dating from 1829, which is now being developed as an exhibition and educational centre.
