Programmes Team

The Policy and Programmes Team provides advice to the Council and external bodies on economic development related matters, represents the Council on a range of regeneration partnerships and helps deliver strategic regeneration initiatives. 

The team co-ordinate and support the development of the social economy of Cumbria in particular through managing the Council’s Community Regeneration Fund, assisting the expansion of community enterprises and through managing the Cumbria Rural Infrastructure Support Programme which protects and helps develop vital community lead services.
