A central plank of Cumbria 14-19 Strategic Partnership is the involvement of young people in the planning, delivery and evaluation of 14-19 Reforms.
The partnership is undertaking an audit of existing mechanisms for consultation with young people, as well as researching the potential for new models to involve as diverse a cohort as possible in the process.
We encourage partners to implement the "Hear by Right" (see link below) standards framework, which enables organisations across the statutory and voluntary sectors to assess and improve practice and policy on the active involvement of children and young people.
