To apply for an assessment, you will need to contact us through Customer Services at your local Cumbria Children’s Services office. Customer Services will ask you for information about you and your child, and also anyone else involved in your child's care. If you prefer, you can write to us, apply on-line through our website or you can ask someone (such as a doctor, school or nurse) to contact us on your behalf.
Customer Services will discuss with you what kinds of difficulties you and your child are facing, and if we can help, they will put you in contact with a social worker. Customer Services may also be able to tell you about other sources of help.
