All CAES tutors who are new to teaching with the service must now have, or be prepared to work towards, a recognised teaching qualification. The minimum requirement is the completion of a PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) course with an expectation that the Award will be converted into a full teaching qualification within five years.

Wanted - Salsa and Theology Tutors
Cartmel Community Education are seeking tutors to teach Salsa and Theology. It would be advantageous if you have a formal teaching qualification but training opportunities are available on the PTLLS course (Preparing to teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) at various centres from September 2008. Good rates of pay offered and the chance to work in a vibrant area where learning is really valued. Wanted - IT Tutors
St Begh’s CDC, Near Whitehaven are looking for tutors to teach classes starting in September 2008, especially ECDL or (BCS level 1 and level 2).
