The Energy Coast UTC are seeking to appoint confident and dynamic Teachers for Mathematics and Science and a Subject Leader for English. We inspire our students with a curriculum built around our employer lead projects, producing independent and innovative individuals prepared for their future careers.

Successful candidates will be energetic, dynamic, flexible and passionate about making learning exciting and enjoyable. They shall have vision and an ability to plan, maintain and develop outstanding teaching and learning. Teachers and Subject Leaders are line-managed by a Team Leader. Team Leaders and Subject Leaders work together to embed an effective inter-disciplinary approach to teaching and learning across their associated curriculum areas and the UTC as a whole.

The Energy Coast UTC is part of a new national initiative to provide very highly specialised centres for technical education and excellence for young people between the ages of 14-19.

The joint specialisms of the UTC are Energy, Engineering and Construction. The UTC programme is designed to be business led and supported by a University.
