Are you concerned about a child?

Everyone has a responsibility to protect children from harm.

Some Children can be at risk of neglect, emotional harm ,including bullying, physical abuse and sexual abuse and in any environment and can include close family members as well as strangers 

Getting help

If you feel that a child or young person is  in danger of being harmed and  in need of protection please call the police on 999.

Children’s Services

If you think a child you know is being harmed or at risk of being harmed, please contact your local Children’s Services triage team who you can talk to about your concerns, and they will give you advice or may investigate the circumstances. All calls are treated in  confidence and you need not give your details..

The opening times for these offices is 08:45 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.
