The Family Learning Team offer a range of courses for parents and carers.  Our courses usually run in schools, children’s centres and other local venues. The courses include joint sessions where parents and children work together, as well as separate learning time for parents and children. 

Our courses help mothers, fathers, grandparents and carers to:

• Have fun with their child whilst learning
• Support their children’s learning and development in language and number skills.
• Brush up their own literacy, language and number skills.

All our courses are free.  We can also pay for registered childcare for younger children in the family.
