Adoption - What support and training will I have?

All of our adopters attend a Preparation Course together with other people who are thinking about adoption. At these courses you often get the opportunity to talk with adoptive parents about their experiences of how life has changed since the child's arrival. You will be allocated a Family Placement Social Worker and also have access to our 24 hour "Out of Hours" service staffed by Social Workers who can provide advice and guidance when needed. Furthermore, Support Groups are held regularly where current problematic issues can be discussed.
