Schools and Cumbria Children's Services continue to need the support of members of the local community, through the contribution you can make to the development of schools as a governor.
The work of the governing body covers three main roles (see link below) - setting the aims, plans and priorities for schools, supporting and checking on the progress that has been agreed and letting all those with an interest in the school know what has been achieved. If you are interested in joining a pool of interested individuals who want to become governors, please complete the school governor application form (see link below) and send it back to us.
