School Admissions

The deadline for starting school and transfer to junior school applications was 15 January 2013.  The online application system is now closed.  If you have already made an application you can view this by following the link to apply online.  If you wish to amend an online application please contact the School Admissions and Appeals Team (contact information below).

Transfer to secondary school – September 2013

If your child is in Year 6 at a primary or junior school, they will transfer to secondary school in September 2013.  You need to apply for a secondary school place by 31 October 2012.  Use the link on the right for more information.

 

Starting school – September 2013

If your child was born between 1 September 2008 and 31 August 2009 they will be due to start in reception at an infant or primary school in September 2013.  You need to apply for an infant or primary school place by 15 January 2013.  Use the link on the right for more information.

 

Transfer to junior school – September 2013

If your child is currently in Year 2 at an infant school, they will transfer to a junior or primary school in September 2013.  You need to apply for a junior or primary school place by 15 January 2013.  Use the link on the right for more information.

 

Applying for an in year school place

If you need to change your child’s school during the academic year, ie other than at the usual transfer times above, you need to make an application to the School Admissions and Appeals Team.  Use the link on the right for more information.

 

Need to make an appeal? -  You have the right to an independent admission appeal if you have applied for a place at any maintained school or academy and have not been offered a place.
