Shap Community Development Centre

Term Time Opening Hours:  Monday and Friday 09.30-12.30hrs term time only. 

Location & Parking:  Shap CDC is based in Shap C of E Primary School which is situated in the centre of Shap village, at the east side of the A6 and the north side of Shap Memorial Hall.  Exit Junction 39 from the M6.  Car parking is available in the school car park out of school hours or in the public car park on the south side of the Memorial Hall.  Disabled parking is available at any time in the school car park near the main entrance to the school or at the front of the Memorial Hall for courses that take place there.

Accessing the building:  The CDC office and ICT training room are situated on the first floor and access is via stairs.  The Community Classroom has full disabled access and toilet facilities.  The Community Classroom or Shap Memorial Hall, which also has full disabled access, will be used for adult education provision.  We encourage all learners to contact us to discuss any concerns they may have regarding access to provision.

Enrolment:  Enrolments can be made by post, telephone or email or in person during opening hours.  We also hold enrolment evenings in September - please contact us for further details.

Outreach venues:  We also use various outreach venues for our courses.  These include Shap Memorial Hall and Shap Community Library
