Learning Support Schools is a professional staffing agency providing qualified and skilled teaching assistants to work with schools and other educational establishments in the support of pupils with statutory and non statutory educational needs.  All staff both contracted and supply have full enhanced CRB checks and are qualified to NVQ level 3 standard.
 
Supply cover for school based staff can be accessed throughout the county. Resources and materials covering the whole spectrum of special educational needs are available in each location.

Team-Teach is a series of positive strategies that can be used by teachers, support workers, health professionals or anyone whose work brings them into contact with challenging behaviour.  It is a widely recognized training programme which provides employees with a gradual and graded response to de-escalate situations calmly and safely.

Participants learn the importance of team working and the legal implications of positive handling - including the importance of documentation.

Moving and Handling training offering safe manual handling of inanimate objects, safe moving and handling of children, risk assessments and on site training.
