CIEP Locality Working Conference - 4th March, 2011

The CIEP Locality Working Conference was held on Friday 4th March, 2011 between 9:30am and 4pm at the University of Cumbria Newton Rigg. It was a partnership event funded by CIEP and organised by the Stronger Group of the Safer and Stronger Thematic Partnership.

The event was a huge success, with over 100 delegates attending on the day. The delegates were given the opportunity to explore the Localism Bill to see how it affects Cumbria, to gain further information on locality working at a strategic/local level and to understand in greater detail what can be done to improve locality working  across the County.

The presentation slides from the Locality Working Conference are attached below. For further information on this event please contact Lorrainne Smyth on; lorrainne.smyth@cumbriacc.gov.uk
