Creative Futures is a Cumbria based not for profit organisation which places art at the heart of education.
Creative Futures Cumbria was formed in April 2008, when Cumbria Arts in Education became the host organisation for Creative Partnerships Cumbria.
The organisation is commissioned by Cumbria County Council to train creative people including artists, scientists, architects, chefs and web designers to work in schools across Cumbria.
By matching artists with schools, Cumbria pupils are able to enjoy culture and the arts as part of the learning process. The county council is continually working to support third sector arts organisations such as this, in order to improve access to arts and culture for Cumbrian residents
