Cumbria Social Enterprise Partnership

Skip main menu

Social enterprises in the county are able to apply to receive consultancy advice through the Cumbria Social Enterprise Partnership (CSEP) Support Programme.

21 social enterprises will receive at least £1,000 of consultancy support each. The support would include:

  • A programme of training and workshops on issues including accessing funding, procurement and product development
  • Assisting social enterprises in developing renewable energy systems to make themselves and their communities more sustainable
  • Support in improving their working with the aim of achieving Investors in People status or other quality marks

Cumbria County Council supports the Partnership’s work by hosting its Partnership Manager, Rob Randell who is working to realise both the county council and the Partnership’s vision to develop the capacity of the social enterprise sector in Cumbria.

The county council is continually working to support social enterprises such as this, in order to improve the economic opportunities and services open to Cumbrian residents.
