Cumbria LINk is an independent network that brings people, organisations, and community groups together, giving them a voice in improving Health and Social Care services.
Cumbria LINk helps the county council and the local NHS and organisations which provide care services to listen and respond to a wide range of views so that people, groups and organisations can influence all health and social care services in the area.
LINks are open to everyone: voluntary organisations, community-based groups, local business groups and individual members of the public.
The council’s Community Unit is responsible for commissioning and managing the LINk in Cumbria. Adult Services and Health and Well Being Scrutiny panel are also involved. In Cumbria the LINk is hosted by CumbriaCVS
