Safer and Stronger Communities

The Stronger Communities programme is the Community Unit’s response to the Government's drive on public participation in decision making and shaping of policy and empowering communities to become stronger and more sustainable. The programme leads and manages the Safer and Stronger Communities Theme of the Local Area Agreement and promotes the County Councils approach to mainstreaming the concepts of safer and stronger communities.
