Do I have to give notice of my question/petition/deputation?

Yes. This must be received, in writing, by the Head of Member Services at least eleven days before the date of the meeting, but it would be helpful if more notice could be given. This is to allow sufficient time for your question to be included on the agenda. If you wish, you may add a few explanatory or supporting points in your letter when submitting your question. If a petition is to accompany your question, it will be sufficient to mention this in your letter. The petition can then be presented at the meeting.
