How long may I speak?

The Chair will invite you to ask your question or present your petition, and you will be allowed to speak for around five minutes. If a large number of people want to speak on the same subject, the Chair may invite the individuals concerned to nominate one or two people to speak on behalf of the group. The Chair has absolute discretion to decide how long you may speak.

When speaking you must keep to the subject; you must avoid using offensive or abusive language, and you must keep to time.
