A message from local committee chairman, Eric Nicholson:

Allerdale Local Committee has a strong track record of developing innovative ways to improve its accessibility to the public, its role as a local facilitator and coordinator, and as a partner that works closely with local groups, agencies and other Authorities.

Allerdale Local Committee’s work focuses on how to improve its existing service delivery in ways which accurately identify and meet the needs of local people. In addition, the Committee recognises the need to continually improve the way that it carries out its work as well as developing its practical aspirations.
