National and Local Risk Registers
The UK Government has undertaken a national risk assessment that has identified disruptive challenges which could affect the UK over a five year period.
National Risk Register - Considerations for Organisations (external link)
Within Cumbria, a similar risk assessment process has been carried out by representatives from local emergency services as well as the Local Authorities. This community risk register is then used to prioritise and co-ordinate the efforts and resources of all agencies to put in place effective emergency response arrangements.
You may find the information in both of these documents useful when developing and reviewing your own business continuity plans or those of your critical suppliers.
