Public Attitudes to Diversity

We recognize a leadership role in promoting the diversity of Cumbria’s communities.

To do this we:

  • Carry out surveys, for example Cumbria Attitudes Surveys in April 2007 and April 2010
  • Develop systems for addressing prejudice and hate incidents
  • Support the media to promote diversity
  • Support community groups representing the six equality strands to have a higher profile in Cumbria
