Sometimes it is useful to have a range of information for a local area, and wards are an excellent geography to use for this purpose. There are 168 wards in Cumbria, and there are a wide range of information available for them. Because they are small, the information can give a real insight into the characteristics of the people who live there. In many cases, data for wards can be directly compared to a district average.
The wards are available here in Excel spreadsheet format. Simply select the district you require and locate the worksheet for the ward you are interested in. Profiles can then be printed if required.
