Welcome to the Cumbria ICT Broadband Initiative (CIBI) Discussion Forum.

CIBI is committed to ensuring that affordable broadband access is widely available to businesses and people in the county and encouraging use of broadband once it is available.

We recognise that not everyone understands what benefits broadband can bring and that it can be difficult to get all of the information needed to get the most from a broadband connection.

This discussion forum is part of the work CIBI is undertaking to widen understanding of broadband and its implications and seeks to

facilitate the exchange of broadband information
create a pool of knowledge by encouraging users of broadband to share their experiences
encourage your views, either as a user or potential user of broadband
enable you to contribute to the broadband debate in the county
provide a focal point for the discussion of broadband in Cumbria

While the Discussion Forum software is provided by one of CIBI's partners, Cumbria County Council, the Forum is in no way part of the county council or moderated by it.
