When you make a pot or cup(s) of tea/coffee, just fill the pot/cups with enough cold water, tip that in the kettle and only use the ENERGY and WATER that you need.
Keep a tally of how many times you use your kettle in a week, and see how much you will save. It really does prove that: SMALL CHANGES ADD UP.

Dispose of unwanted but useable items through local 'freecycle' groups (if you have access to the internet). People will usually take the item away from your home, and all items must be given free of charge.
