In the last year, Cumbria County Council has employed 123 apprentices. This is why Cumbria County Council was named North West Apprentice Employer of the Year 2012 (Macro employer) by the National Apprentice Service.
The council was recognised as North West Apprentice Employer of the Year 2012 (Macro Employer)
for its work in developing the numbers, range and levels of apprenticeships for young people in Cumbria during 2012 by progressing apprentices into employment through effective workforce planning.
