Sports Development in Cumbria 

Team sports like, Football, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Hockey and Cricket are well provided for across Cumbria. Cumbria County Council's Education Service supports a wide range of sporting activities and sports development programmes in partnership with the 6 District Councils of Cumbria, National Governing Bodies of Sport and voluntary sports clubs.
