Cumbria Libraries Audiobook Collection - Download Free Audiobooks

Some maintenance work will be taking place on One Click Digital on Saturday (19th May) between 7 am and 11am. During these times some members may find that they cannot access the service. Cumbria Libraries apologises for any disruption in service but the company, One Click Digital, assure us that it is important and unavoidable.

 

The platform for downloading audiobooks has changed. The One Click Digitalthis external link will open in a new window platform will be easier to use and includes"how to" videos and other Help facilities.
If you registerd to the previous Ebsco Clipper DL platform, you will need to create a new account and then you can continue to enjoy the whole range of audiobooks available.


Are you a member of the library? Do you have a pc at home with broadband internet access? Do you enjoy listening to an audiobook at the gym or on your daily commute to work or even while you do the housework?

With One Click Digital you can have 24/7 access to over 600+ audiobook titles that you can download onto your phone, MP3 player, iPod or PC. New best selling titles are added every month.

You can choose up to 10 audiobooks at a time to download. After three weeks the audiobooks are automatically "returned" and will no longer be accessible - no fines or trips to the library.

To access the service you need to be a member of the library. Once you have registeredthis external link will open in a new window and created an account with One Click Digital, you will have instant access to every title within the collection and will also have the option to download some free software - the key to getting the most out of One Click Digital.

How to create an account
Simply go to the OneClickdigitalthis external link will open in a new window website. You will need to enter your library card number and make sure you fill in all the boxes. You will be asked to create a username and password which you will use to login in future. Once you have created your account each subsequent visit will just require your username and password.

It is best to install Media Manager when you create your account although it is still possible to download the software without it. Youn can change this at any time by going to My Account and then Preferences

There is plenty of help available within the site. Just click on the Help tab at the top. Use the FAQ's first to see if your problem is covered. (You should not click on Contact Us as these details are for the US-based provider.)
