Vintage Penrith Week is a week long celebration of "the traditional strengths and current vitality" (Joe Harris President of Vintage Penrith) of Penrith town. There will be lots of different kinds of events including displays, walks, talks, concerts, films, children's activities, a picnic in the park and a grand parade. As part of this week of celebration Penrith Library are hosting 5 interesting talks on local topics (see below).On the Tuesday and Wednesday Paul Daw, one of the speakers, will also lead 3 site visits to local stone circle sites.

Free Internet taster sessions intended for those with little or no Internet experience. These sessions are every Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 and Sunday from 14:30 to 15:30.
