Cast-on! with Walney Library

Knitting is now described by some as the new yoga. For the past few years, knitting & crocheting have made a big comeback as hobbies of choice.

At Walney Library, each Wednesday at 2pm is an informal and friendly weekly knitting (and crochet) group.

All are welcome to come along, it's FREE of charge.

Bring along a current project, start a new one or ask us to show you how!

School /Group Visits

Walney Library welcomes visits by school, nursery and local groups, whether you wish to bring your students to use our libraries for research, or to come to a story session.

Your group is welcome to use our library for study or research, but please be aware that the library can be busy during term time, so it is always best to contact us prior to a visit if you can.
