Codes of Conduct for members and officers explain in practical terms the standards of behaviour required under the law, for both members and officers, under conditions of service and under Cumbria County Council Procedure Rules.

This site also explains how staff, external contractors or members of the public can raise concerns about any aspect of council activity.  This ranges from asking for information, Freedom of Information or about reporting suspected irregularities or corruption or complaints about the standards of service.  There are also links to care sites should there be issues with the Safeguarding of Children or Adults.
