Grants Budget

The grants budget for the area is £13,107 in the 2008/09 budget.
Recent examples of awards are:-

  • Mary Platt Methodist pre school awarded £250.00 towards new wooden chairs
  • Cockermouth Swimming club awarded £1000.00 to fund travel to competitions
  • Broughton & brigham First Responders £500.00 towards Running and equipment costs
  • Blindcrake village hall committee awarded £1000.00 to treat dry and wet rot
