Hawcoat Forum Area

Community Activity

County Councillors and officers work in partnership with a number of agencies and residents groups including Police, Highways, Barrow Borough Council.

At recent forums it had become evident that residents are concerned with a number of issues in the area such as parking, traffic speeds, street lighting.  The Forum is working in partnership with the Police to tackle the issue of traffic speeding.

Forum Meetings

This Forum holds and issue-based meetings for both residents and partners/agencies. If there is no Forum meeting forthcoming, and an issue needs to be addressed urgently a Forum will be arranged to respond to such issue(s).

The Local Committee Public Participation Slot from 10.00-10.45 allows residents to gather informally over refreshments to raise issues with the local County Councillors.
