Community Activity
County Councillors and officers work in partnership with a number of agencies and residents groups including Police, Highways, Barrow Borough Council.
A large project being undertaken at present is the installation of alleygates. Alleygates keys are being distributed and it is likely that gates will installed early July 2007.
Forum Meetings
This Forum holds issue-based meetings for both residents and partners/agencies. If there is no Forum meeting forthcoming, and an issue needs to be addressed urgently a Forum will be arranged to respond to such issue(s).
The Local Committee Public Participation Slot from 10.00-10.45 allows residents to gather informally over refreshments to raise issues with the local County Councillors.
