This forum has a Grants budget, for 2010/2011, of £9,771.61 which is jointly funded by Cumbria County Council and Copeland Borough Council with a Youth Grants budget of £1,371.66
Grants Awarded at the forum in January 2011 were:
£400.00 to De Lucy Centre Age UK West Cumbria towards the cost of digital voice recording equipment and preservation items
£750.00 to Egremont Parish Church Hall Committee towards the cost of new chairs for the hall
£1,500.00 to St Bees First Responders Group towards the cost of training and safety equipment
£500.00 to Whitehaven Egremont & District Credit Union as part of a multi application towards the cost to market new financial products and existing services including drop-in sessions at local community centres
£657.00 to St Bees Village Events and Beach Group towards the cost of staging four village events
£165.00 to Moor Row School to purchase posts for the new community netball club
£750.00 to Copeland Citizens Advice Bureau as part of a multi application towards the cost of equipment for advisers running outreach sessions and home visits in Copeland
Applications from St Bees Parent & Toddler Group and Cumbria Rungwe Community Link were withdrawn

£200.00 to Egremont Town Band towards the cost of a new Junior Band uniform
£137.00 to Hannah Crichton towards the cost to represent the county in National Squash competitions
£650.00 to Cleator Moor Amateur Boxing Club as part of a multi application towards the cost of 1 SO storage container for equipment and boxing ring
£1,200.00 to Youth Works Egremont Ltd towards the cost of installing a new computer server package
£260.00 to Bigrigg Village Hall towards the cost to replace crockery damaged when the hall was flooded
£350.00 to Friends of St Bees Village School towards the cost of taking a team to Twickenham representing the County, to play rugby prior to an international match
Grants Awarded at the forum in September 2010 were:
£150.00 to Moor Row Jubilee Club towards the cost of a three course lunch for members
£600.00 to St Bees History Group towards the cost to purchase a drop-dowm projection screen and six wooden lockers
£400.00 to St Bees Parish Council Events Sub-Committee towards the cost of holding a Village Fireworks Celebration
St Bees Parish Council Traffic Calming Sub-Committee -towards the cost to purchase a Speed Indicator Device for the village A final decision was deferred for further discussions with Cumbria Highways and the Police
Grants Awarded at the forum in June 2010 were:
£1,000.00 to Egremont Rugby Union Club as part of a multi application towards the cost to build disabled toilets and disabled access and egress to and from the club
£250.00 to Copeland Amateur Swimming Club as part of a multi application towards the cost to replace the timing system, blocks, touch pads and scoreboard
£450.00 to Smithfield and Longcroft Tenants and Residents Association towards the cost to run social events for residents of Smithfield and Longcroft
£424.00 to The Phoenix Youth Project (Moor Row) towards start up costs for new youth club at Moor Row
£350.00 to Oald Cummerlan Castle Mount Residence Fund towards the cost of sensory equipment, games and craft materials
