Grants Budget

This Forum has a remaining main budget of £3,864.50 for this financial year. Forum grants are jointly funded by Cumbria County Council and Copeland Borough Council. 

Grants Awarded at the last Forum in October 2010 were:

£450 to Copeland Amateur Theatrical Society as part of a multi application for sound technician and equipment for the 'Spend Spend Spend' production in February 2011. 

£450 to Whitehaven Bowling Club as part of a multi application towards improving the Club's facilities. 

£750 to Mirehouse Labour & Social Club to assist with installing wheelchair accessible toilet facilities.

Grants awarded at the Forum in December 2010 were: 

£600 to Lowca ARLFC Youth Section as part of a multi application towards the cost of new strips and safety equipment for three new teams. 

£600 to Cumbria-Rungwe Community Link as part of a multi application towards training and teambuilding in preperation of hosting a group of Tanzanians in 2011.  

£883 to Woodhouse Family Advice Centre to fund a Christmas Trip to the La'al Ratty Santa Express for the children that use the centre. 

£1,500 to Woodhouse Community Action Group towards start up costs for the South Whitehaven Communities Together Trust.
