Age Concern South Lakeland offer a wide range of services both giving information over the phone and making homes visits. They help people identify the benefits they can claim and help filling in the forms. Age Concern also act on other people’s behalf over issues such as housing; health matters; solicitors and planning. Anyone over the age of 55 can use Age Concern Services. Age Concern also have a nursing advisor to help a family to identify a nursing home for an elderly relative, and advise on funding the stay.

The forum meets three times per year with the meetings moving around the area.
