Cumbria Strategic Partnership delighted to hear of NDA announcemen

Bill Lowther, Chair, Cumbria Strategic Partnership wishes to congratulate all those who have worked so hard to ensure the new Nuclear Decommissioning Authority headquarters is sited in West Cumbria. 

The Cumbria Strategic Partnership received a presentation at its January meeting during which the strategic potential of the authority for the whole county was highlighted. Following the meeting a number of CSP partners, including the Cumbria Inward Investment Agency, were amongst those who, led by Jack Cunningham MP, lobbied Government to bring the NDA to our county and the Partnership is delighted with the result. We are also please to acknowledge the role of North West Development Agency and their Chief Executive, Mike Shields in their support of this project.
