15/12/03 - Christmas Card Painting Competition 2003 Winners

Cumbria Early Years Development & Childcare partnership is delighted to announce the winners of its Christmas card painting competition for 2003.  Each winner will receive a £50 book token for their childcare provider and a further £20 book token for themselves.

The winners of the competition are as follows:

  •       Children of Thornleigh Day Nursery in Windermere
  •       Bethany Ingham age 9 from Cockermouth Out of School Club
  •       Rosie Steel age 4 from Goschen Road Nursery in Carlisle

Cathy Skidmore, Marketing and Communication Officer for Cumbria Early Years Development & Childcare Partnership is delighted with the amount of children who entered the competition. She says

“Due to the overwhelming response and the standard of entries we decided to have 3 winners this year.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who entered the competition, it is lovely to see so many creative ideas from children in Cumbria.”
