Crosscrake CE Primary School in Kendal Praised by Ofsted

Staff, pupils, parents and governors at Crosscrake CE Primary School in Kendal are celebrating today after being included in Ofsted Inspectors annual successful schools list.

Schools listed have either received outstanding inspection reports or improved significantly enough to be removed from special measures and no longer considered to be failing schools.

County Councillor Joan Stocker, Cabinet Spokesperson for Education says,

"I am delighted that Ofsted has acknowledged the high level of achievement within Crosscrake School. The hard work and dedication of everyone in the school has resulted in its inclusion in the report. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the staff, governors and of course the pupils who have contributed to the school's success."

K East, Chair of Governors says,

"We are all thrilled and proud to hear that our happy school has been highly praised in the Chief Inspectors Annual Report. It is an acknowledgement of the dedicated team of staff, governors and parents who work together under strong leadership to provide the best education for every pupil. It is also a tribute to our wonderful pupils. As a staff we are open minded, flexible and highly motivated. We like to combine traditional values and principles with the best of current ideas and thinking to provide a broad and stimulating curriculum which encourages each child to develop his or her full potential, socially, spiritually, intellectually, creatively and physically. We thank the staff, parents and children, past and present, who have all contributed to this achievement and look forward to continued success for Crosscrake School."
