07/10/03 - Logo design winners for Lowther Street Trust

On Thursday 9thOctober at 10am in the Kraemer Room, The Courts, Lowther Street Trust Chairman, County Councillor John Robinson will present awards to 2 young people for designing the logo for the Trust.

Winner, Carla Williams and runner-up Laura Harkness both attend North Cumbria Technology College in Carlisle.  Carla will receive £100 and Laura will receive £50.  Lowther Street Trust is a charitable Trust promoting education for the under 25s in the Carlisle area.   

County Councillor John Robinson says   

“I am looking forward to awarding Carla and Laura with their cheques.  The winning design truly reflects the Trust’s aims and objectives.  It was just what we were looking for.  The logo will now be used on all of the Trust’s letterheads and badges.”
