09/02/04 - Carlisle City Centre Bus/Rail Interchange

The top of Warwick Road, between Cecil Street and The Crescent, will be closed to vehicular traffic on Tuesday night from 19:00hrs to 07:00hrs Wednesday morning and again from 07.00hrs Wednesday night to 01:00hrs Thursday morning to enable necessary resurfacing works to be carried out.

Alternative diversion routes will be clearly signed.  For the City Centre and Railway Station follow diversion via Brunswick Street, Cecil Street and Portland Place (the one way order on Portland Place has been temporarily reversed for this work).  For Botchergate and the A6 South follow diversion via Brunswick Street and Tait Street.
